Klarna's 6 metre christmas tree delighted commuters at paddington station
Klarna is the leading global payments and shopping service, providing smarter and more flexible shopping and purchase experiences to 147 million active consumers across more than 400,000 merchants in 45 countries.
Klarna wanted to spread Christmas cheer and remind people of their services during December 2021.
Paddington station was selected as the location to engage with shoppers, commuters and visitors to London.
Klarna designed a beautiful 6 metre tree with colour matched decorations comprising of feather boas, flowers, custom made disco ball baubles and a unique colour scheme, topped with a custom disco ball effect star to ensure the tree stood out in the station environment. The beautiful tree, surrounded by a Klarna inspired picket fence, also played Christmas carols throughout the installation. Over 3.8 million people saw the fantastic installation over the festive period in 2021.
Additionally, and for the first time in Paddington, the brand was able to apply dichroic vinyl on interior glass walls which added shimmering, colour-shifting effects to the local environment.
The fantastic Christmas tree helped spread Christmas cheer to London after a challenging year.
